St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church

The Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker is located in the city of Uralsk. It was built in the late 1850s, however, the building has not been preserved in its original form. It was rebuilt after a fire in 1900.

There are old icon paintings located under the dome. They were discovered at the end of the 20-th century during the restoration. Now this place is considered holy. Here one can see the miraculous icons of St. Nicholas and the Virgin Mary.
