Berkutaul (Berkut's village) is the second peak after Belukha by its popularity among climbers and tourists in Southern Altai with 3373 m altitude. It has a clearly faceted pyramidal top, 3 glaciers reaching 1 km in length. Convenient for its relative availability. The area of the Berkutaul mountain is suitable for climbers' training. There are 31 routes with various categories of complexity from 1 to 5 A. Key points: Topkayin v. - Shabanbulak combe - National Park entrance - Maitekshe combe - ecological camp Sights: Aralbai combe, Berkutaul climbing camp, panoramic observation deck.
