Opening of the exhibition  Evgenia Grekina's "New Venuses"

The New Venuses project is a multi–level exploration of physicality, sensuality and taboos, creating a fascinating conversation between the model, the artist and the viewer.

The project was born out of reflections on women and femininity in the modern world. Moving from the Venus of the Paleolithic era, the artist again comes to the feeling of body density, the feeling of its reliefs, volumes, in an attempt to understand modern body language, which preserves archaic codes.

The artist's project involved women who had never experienced posing before. The personal session with Evgenia was truly transformational for many of them.
