«ANAU-MYNAU» exhibition at Fortebank Kulanshi Art Space

            ANAU-MYNAU is not just the name of the exhibition, it is a lively conversation about the "here and now", about the world around us through the eyes of a new generation of Kazakhstani artists. ANAU-MYNAU is a common expression in Kazakh, which can be translated as "here and there" or "everywhere", and it perfectly reflects the essence of this project. In these words, there is movement, search, and the desire to embrace the world, understand it, find your place, and express it through visual art.

         The first Biennial of youth fine arts brought together 35 talented artists from all over the country working in the fields of painting and graphics. Their creative searches demonstrate the diversity of approaches, themes and techniques that form the unique face of modern Kazakh art. This exhibition is a bold dialogue between tradition and innovation, local themes and global challenges.
