Astana Global Gastro: the unique philosophy of modern gastronomy

In order to popularize gastronomy in Kazakhstan, restaurateur, co-founder of Good Project Gurgen Basentsyan, in partnership with Damira Abdullayeva, launched the Astana Global Gastro gastronomic festival in 2023. A unique series of gastronomic dinners was opened by the famous chef from Moscow, Licarion Solntsev, who has his own unique philosophy. The perfect cocktail accompaniment to the positions was provided by the general partner of Astana Global Gastro, the ultra-premium French brand Grey Goose.

This project is not only about food and drinks, they are, first of all, about new experiences that people lack in the routine of everyday life. For this reason, when creating new projects, we always think about how else we can pleasantly surprise our guests. For example, this year we invited 11 Michelin-starred chefs to Kazakhstan for gastronomic dinners. As of the release date of the interview, we have booked 8 international chefs with regalia from Michelin stars to The 50 Best, with whom dinners will be held in all restaurants of our Good Project chain as part of the festival.
