Bathhouse "Kali Yunus"
The bathhouse “Kali Yunus ” is widely known among the visitors of Zhambyl region due to its historical and traditional significance.
One of the main cultural attractions of Taraz is the eastern bathhouse “Kali Yunus ”, dating from the 19th century. The construction of the bathhouse, with an area of 450 square meters, was built with the basics of medieval architectural ideas, water supply and heating systems of the eastern type. Despite the restoration of the premises, the external and internal appearance of the structure remained the same. The bathhouse is a multi-dome building and the light penetrates here through small openings on the top of the vault. Its structure includes five rooms, each of which was previously decorated with picturesque paintings, but now there are only projections for sitting here.

Here you can really go back a few hundred years ago and feel like a rich merchant who decided to rest after a long journey with a caravan on the hot trails of the Great Silk Road.
