The highest point of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The snow peak of Khan-Tengri is the highest point of the Republic of Kazakhstan, whose name can be translated as “Lord of the sky”. The peak belongs to the Tien Shan mountain system located at the junction of the borders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the People's Republic of China. Quite a lot of brave men seek to conquer Khan-Tengri, despite the real extreme, associated with dangerous climbing on steep rocks and unreliable mountain steep.
At its foot, there is a base tourist camp, which organizes routes of several levels of difficulty, helps newly arrived climbers to quickly get started in the mountains and navigate the terrain, as well as guides and lifeguards work. At the top of the mountain is a capsule with short messages from all people who obeyed the stone giant.
Currently, travel companies are traveling to Tien Shan with climbing to the peak of Khan-Tengri.
