Museum of Folk Musical Instruments

The building looks peculiar - it is made of wood and resembles a traditional Russian building. Inside it's decorated with national Kazakh ornaments. The exhibition consists of 40 types of Kazakh musical instruments, mainly dombra, kobyz, syldyrmak, surnay. There are also Russian, Dungan and Uygur musical instruments. A guide will be glad to tell you about the musicians of past eras and interesting facts from the history of musical art.
