Underground mosque "Shopan-ata" is associated with the name of the revered sage, who once became a mentor for Becket-ata. Batyr revered his spiritual teacher, so today there is an unspoken rule for pilgrims that they should visit the mosques of both religious figures of the Kazakh steppes. Muslim temple is carved in the mountain range and consists of 12 rooms with different functionality: one room for religious rituals, while others are designed for educational activities, and the third for the readings, etc. In addition, there is a burial chamber Shopan-Ata and special halls for pilgrims.
