The history of the courageous hero - the Aral Sea - is a reminder of the careful attitude to the gifts of nature and their mandatory preservation.
The Aral Sea is a large salt lake, to which applies the phrase “when we have it, we do not appreciate. Then if we lose it we cry”. This is due to the human factor, due to which the sea has significantly dried up and emptied in a certain area, creating a salty desert on the former territory. However , in the Aral sea region you can not only see the environmental problem with your own eyes and understand her origin, but also admire the power of the local waters, admire the environs, as if unearthly, that are complemented by a delightful picture of sparkling salt marshes.
Now the Aral Sea is divided into two conventional zones - the Big Aral and the Small Aral, where active fishing is conducted. An interesting feature of the lake is a variety of phytoplankton species - organisms that carry out photosynthesis. They bathe here quite rarely, mainly for the purpose of salt water recovery.
Currently, a number of projects are being implemented aimed at the restoration of viable areas, the regulation of the Syrdarya riverbed and, of course, of the preservation of the natural object.
