Tengri Ultra Trail - The Great Steppe Marathon

The race is held in the Tamgaly-Tas Tract, on the banks of the Ili River. The nearest town is Kapchagay. Almaty, the largest city in Kazakhstan, is 120 kilometers away.

• Sprint - start at 9 am from Tamgaly Tas Tract - move northward along the dirt road - after 2.5 km get off the road then move along hilly terrain - food station (electronic mark there), turning point - run along dirt road to the finish line (finish at the starting point, in the competition camp). The length is 15 km. The elevation difference is 250 m. There will be one stop during which you’ll have time to eat (7 km away from the start).
• Trail - start at 6 am. The length is 35 km. The difference in elevation is 650 m. There are catering stands at 7 km, 13 km, 20 km, 27 km, 30 km. The time limit for the distance is 7 hours.
• Ultra - start at 6 am. The length is 70 km. The difference in elevation is 1450 m. There are catering stands at 7 km, 13 km, 20 km, 27 km, 30 km, 35 km, 42 km, 48 km, 58 km, 63 km. The time limit for the distance is 12 hours.
