PATA Travel Mart has been held annually under the patronage of PATA since 1978 in 44 cities with a total coverage of over 40 thousand delegates. Over the past ten years, the exhibition was organised in such cities as Macau (2010, 2017), Delhi (2011), Manila (2012), Chendu (2013), Phnom Penh (2014), Bangalore (2015), Jakarta (2016), Langkawi (2018). Last year, the exhibition was held on September 12-14 in Langkawi, Malaysia and 389 exhibitors from 33 countries of the world; 252 tour operators from 241 organizations attended the event.

Founded in 1951, PATA is a not-for-profit membership association that acts as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel and tourism to, from and within the Asia Pacific region. The Association provides aligned advocacy, insightful research and innovative events to its more than 800 member organisations, including 95 government, state and city tourism bodies, 20 international airlines and airports, 102 hospitality organisations and 70 educational institutions, as well as over a hundred young tourism professional (YTP) members across the world.
