The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is set to organise PATA Travel Mart 2019 in Astana, Kazakhstan in September.

On September 18-20, 2019, the international travel exhibition PATA Travel Mart will take place in the capital of Kazakhstan Astana.

The organizers from the Kazakh side will be the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh Tourism National Company JSC with the support of Astana City Akimat. About 1,200 association members from all over the world will visit the exhibition, mainly from Asia and Europe.

PATA Travel Mart has been held annually under the patronage of PATA since 1978 in 44 cities with a total coverage of over 40 thousand delegates. Over the past ten years, the exhibition was organised in such cities as Macau (2010, 2017), Delhi (2011), Manila (2012), Chendu (2013), Phnom Penh (2014), Bangalore (2015), Jakarta (2016), Langkawi (2018). Last year, the exhibition was held on September 12-14 in Langkawi, Malaysia and 389 exhibitors from 33 countries of the world; 252 tour operators from 241 organizations attended the event.

Founded in 1951, PATA is a not-for-profit membership association that acts as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel and tourism to, from and within the Asia Pacific region. The Association provides aligned advocacy, insightful research and innovative events to its more than 800 member organisations, including 95 government, state and city tourism bodies, 20 international airlines and airports, 102 hospitality organisations and 70 educational institutions, as well as over a hundred young tourism professional (YTP) members across the world.
